When I tried using it, it successfully processed about 25 of the files I tried it on, and the remaining files appeared as black images with a few blocks of colour. In 2022, DxO PureRAW 2 brought various upgrades, delivering a faster, more efficient workflow. Since the sensor is identical to the X-H2 sensor, integration should progress quickly. Fujifilm X-Trans camera users can now use DxO technologies for uncompromised image quality in terms of optical corrections, demosaicing, and denoising. That being said, I’m downloading it now and will see if I’m even more annoyed with spending for a useless/negligible upgrade, or grudgingly note it eases some of the annoyance. That close to a major release, I can’t recall any company not covering a purchase within a two week window with a free upgrade. Granted that the intro upgrade price is 79USD, and I got a coupon for 50USD for any purchase I make in the next 45 days, bringing it to 29USD, but still. This technology pushes the boundaries even further, and DxO PureRAW 3 will revolutionize any photographer’s images and without disrupting their existing workflow. I bought raw2 two weeks ago and I’m annoyed that I have to buy an update.
